Yesterday's pub meet..

Wow! What a fun afternoon I had yesterday. There was a brilliant turnout for our inagural Midian pub meet/social thing, and the atmosphere was lovely. Got a good chance for a natter with everyone. Peeps seemed to have fun: silly goth card games were had, pool was played, cake was consumed (devoured), and generally a good laugh had by all.

So thanks for all who made it down to Hev'n and Hell. The next one will be on the last Sunday in Febuary, the 27th. Hope to see everyone there :) Free entry. 3pm- 9ish (bar open until 12.30am)

Quick reminder also of the next Midian club night on Saturday 12th Feb too. A trad/old school/Batcave special, it'll run from 9pm-2am. £3/2.50 nus

It was fantastic. Like a really nice and friendly pub, with good music at a nice volume. Which we happened to have mostly to ourselves. :-) I ate more cake after you left, and I'm not ashamed, it was really nice cake mmmmmmmmmmmmm, cake.

I have to ask, though; where do they put the pool table during club nights? It looks too heavy to go anywhere too far away.

Right that's it I'm going to get the hell off the internet and throw my modem accross the room. MUST get on with this job application lark.

Yey! Goth pubs rule :D Mmm yup, cake was yum.

The pool table, as it is not a full size one, folds away very easily. It gets puts away for club nights. When I went downstairs for beerage on Fri @ Sanctuary, there was no sign of it, and it's been there for a few weeks. So it stores very effectively :)

Hope the reapplication goes the way you want it to. A shitty situation, I've had that before with jobs, and it's always a real nightmare. Take care luv..

Yup.. it'd be good to see you. It was good to be able to talk to people, whilst listening to good music. It was very chilled, and I loved it :D (as you may be able to tell slightly..)

Sorry I couldnt make it, I was really drained after staying in wigan all night. Will deffo go to the next though.
